Rehabilitation Program

  1. RWL has linkages and networks with a wide range of Rehabilitation Professionals and Assessors including Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech-Language Therapists, Psychologists and Social Workers.

    Specialities include Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Stroke and other neurological conditions, neuromuscular disorders, Cerebral Palsy, soft tissue and orthopaedic conditions covering an age range from paediatric to Aged Care.

  2. RWL also offers Able-X sessions at the Papakura Hub. Able-x is a computer based Upper limb rehabilitation program which has been designed to assist with muscle retraining and eye hand co-ordination following neurological insult. Able-X sessions can be accessed on a session basis or included as part of the Life Activity Plan. Funding may be available through ACC or MSD contracts or on a user pays basis.
